Question 1a. Post-Production
I have gone from knowing virtually nothing about post production to now being able to complete complex editing of video, sound and graphics.
Adobe Premiere Pro
I had no experience at the beginning and have now moved from basic editing to more complex editing, effects, transitions, sound manipulation. I shot on my camera and SD card so that I didn't have to worry about borrowing any equipment from external sources, it improved my productivity because I was able to film and upload to Adobe Premiere Pro in the same day. Examples of some of the key tools I used was the separation tool the transition tools and the select tool to mark bits of the song that needed to be edited.
Photoshop
At A2 Photoshop allowed manipulation of images, effects, colours, cropping, layering images and words. This changed the footage as the editing techniques that I had learned transformed the style and aesthetic of my pieces, examples of tools that I used were the crop tool, the levels tool and blending tool to layer images on top of each other.
